Eighteenth century
The boiseries sculpted in 1767 by Joseph Métivier and Jean-Baptiste Boiston, under the direction of architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, for the Duke of Uzes Hotel, Rue Montmartre, the woodwork early and original example of neoclassical style. Furniture, Jacob, Rabaudin, RVLC, not from the hotel but is characteristic of the research which forms the Parisian artisans engaged in the 1770s.
